Anuncian cual evento inesperado que una cierta obra de teatro se va a cancelar por falta de publico con apenas 3 meses en cartelera.
¿»Apenas»? ¡Pero si la obra era un fracaso! No debió de haber durado ni dos días, es mas, no debió de haberse producido siquiera.
Uno de los actores informa que la obra era maravillosa, que la publicidad fue vasta y que es cosa de la situación del teatro en este país además de que expresó sus deseos de que a la puesta en escena «Los Miserables» no les fuera como a ellos.
Yo usualmente no opino de manera masiva sobre estos temas tan simplones, pero esos comerciales de dicha obra me dieron grandes lecciones de como NO se deben hacer las cosas y para mostrar mi generosidad voy a compartir mi conocimiento con este Sr. actor.

De como NO anunciar una obra de teatro

1° Asegúrese de que el titulo de la obra no sea una palabra que solo signifique algo en 2 países de habla hispana en el mundo y que ninguno de estos dos sea
donde la obra sera presentada.
2° Para promocionar su obra en televisión use escenas que muestren al publico un poco del tema en la obra, ya que si no va a usar un titulo claro al menos el tema debe serlo.
3° Ampliando el punto #2, evite en la manera de lo posible usar escenas como la de una señora mayor parada en medio del escenario azotando la cabeza contra el aire cual gallina peleando por comer maíz imaginario o mostrar a a dos actores de edad bailando tap ya que esto solo confundirá a la audiencia a una posible sugestión de que la obra es sobre el comportamiento de personas mayores con alzheimer selectivo(jca dixit).
4° En la publicidad no incluya mensajes contradictorios como anunciar que la obra es de comedia cuando las escenas que se muestran de estas dan mas bien la idea de una obra tipo dramática.
Siguiendo solo estos sencillos consejos casi podría asegurar que subirá (o hubiera subido) la audiencia en mas del 100%*.

Huelga de maestros o la ignorancia trabajando

Nefasto, que mas se puede decir sobre las marchas que en esta pasada semana hemos estado viendo.
Ya todos sabemos que estas marchas de maestros y burócratas ejercen sus libertades arrollando la de otros miles con derecho al libre transito, bueno, y como diría la histeria hecha joven madre: ¿Y los niños?.
Las personas supongo que deben de tener derecho a un trabajo bien remunerado, pero en este país no se como imaginan que van a conseguir un aumento de salario mientras ellos abandonan a su suerte a la única población que puede otorgarles un mejor nivel económico.
Y no se que tanto de malo tenga el que los maestros quieran hacerse ricos a costa de instruir al pueblo, yo pensé que el ser maestro, la pasión por el conocimiento y la vocación de ayudar a mejorar el nivel cultural de un pueblo era algo que se traía en el alma y no simplemente un camino mas para ganarse el pan de cada día cual vendedor de celulares o taxista, y no que tenga nada en contra de estas profesiones, lo aclaro.
Cuando una persona decide ser maestro tiene que
pasar por un proceso, que esta fallando en ese proceso entonces que los maestros olvidan que su trabajo es simplemente enseñar y que si no tienen ese amor por compartir las letras en bien de una nación hay muchos trabajos allá afuera que si no se hacen bien no comprometen al país.
¿Quien se supone que va a educar a estos miles de niños?, Al igual que en las marchas de antaño, ¿Como esperan preparar a estos niños para que sigan pagando impuestos que mejoren los sueldos de los maestros?, ¿Con marchas de 11am a 3pm esperan ganarse la simpatía del pueblo?.
Una vez escuche que hace unas décadas la educación primaria era exclusivamente para instruir a los niños en el correcto uso y escritura del idioma español así como matemáticas básicas, y tal vez, el día que los jóvenes de 20 años graduados de escuelas publicas cuenten con esos conocimientos sera el día en que los maestros ganen bien y no tengan que salir a manifestarse.
Es muy triste, por cualquier ángulo que se vea, lo que sucedió hace 3 días en la construcción del distribuidor vial de Periférico y Sn. Antonio.
Me duele casi como mío el dolor de ese infortunado trabajador de la construcción que sobrevivió solo unas horas al accidente, intento poner su agonía en mi persona tanto como intento olvidarlo al sentirlo insoportable, sobrevivir aunque sea un instante a ser aplastado por varias toneladas debe ser una de las peores cosas que le pueden suceder a un ser humano.
Pero dejando la sangre ajena de lado, ¿como es posible que sucediera ese accidente?.
En las obras de construcción son comunes los accidentes cuando las personas que ahí laboran no están preparadas para realizar el trabajo que se les encomienda, y ese tipo de trabajadores sobretodo en este país, abundan, pero de eso a ver como se presentan errores tan graves en un proyecto gubernamental es muy deprimente.
Cuando alguien comete un error y pierde la vida es terrible, mas terrible si el error del uno le cuesta la vida a otro, pero cuando el error de muchos le cuesta la vida a alguien la situación va mas allá de lo terrible y pasa, en mi humilde opinión a lo catastrófico.

Ban this word: Taliban

It made me sooo angry!!!
Ok, there’s this silly female singer that sings traditional children songs in techo or country remixes, right? Ok, so that is nothing new, just another singer like Xuxa or maybe even Barnytnhepurplemonster, well, that’s just an everyday thing (sadly), but what happened is that this woman claims that her husband abused her for almost 10 years, physically, mentally, verbally and economically.
How can she make a clear statement about this? Simple, she doesn’t refer to her husband by his name, she calls him «TALIBAN«, why? Because she explained that he’s a terrorist and hates women.
So, for singer Tatiana a taliban means «male terrorist that hates women» and she can say this over and over again without a person/news reporter/journalist/human rights representative to say a word against it.
The talibans were an unfortunate society, they were victims of the fundamentalism of others and victims of the place they lived in, hadn’t it been for the gas factories that are going to be built there they would have been able to
live as happy as Stalone in «Rocky» wanted them to and as happy as all those world leaders in the 80’s said they should be.
Now for the people of the taliban there’s no way out, in the eyes of the world they are evil, they are not nice people like those who destroy world heritage in the name of freedom or like those who can live peacefully in a country where every minute 4 women get beaten up.
I still want to suggest the word «taliban» to be taken out of encyclopaedias and dictionaries to avoid further misconceptions.

Despair

It’s fascinating, they just don’t seem to get tired of falling lower and lower.
You see, my dear reader, since around 5 years ago there’s a song in Spanish that all street musicians in this country sing and also all claim to have written, the song, translated, says something like this:

This along with another «letter» song are a true phenomenon in this country, why? I don’t know, but every time a person gets into a bus, subway or train there seems to be at least a musician in that area that’s not only singing it but saying
it’s a song he wrote.
Two of this I have witnessed, the first one when a few blocks away from my house this musician got into the bus and said he was going to sing a song he composed with his good friends the rock stars of another band, he then started singing, an old lady in the bus was talking and this guy told the old woman to shut up because he was talking away the audience attention from him, and every time a person wanted to get off the bus using the door this person was blocking he interrupted his songs to say «jeez! thanks, I’m so happy to work like this, you people really make things easier for me!».
The other occasion was in the subway with a duo of musicians, they were saying to a TV crew that the song was composed by one of them and that he (the composer) was very happy that all of the street musicians had copied him.
Had it been «Imagine» or «Across the Universe» I suspect it would be now our national anthem.

¿La cura de todos los males?

A ver, a ver, que van a demandar a varios curas por hacer proselitismo politico, que se habla de este folleto de «Pecados electorales», que si esta mal inducir el voto sobretodo en contra de leyes que son tan limitantes como las que van en contra de los homosexuales y el aborto.
No es la bitácora en la que pienso hablar de esos dos últimos temas, esta es solo la bitácora en donde me pregunto porque esta bien que un candidato diga que va a hacer leyes en contra del aborto pero esta mal que un líder de iglesia o credo lo diga.
Si, que hay leyes electorales, si, que les esta prohibido inducir, claro, pero, ¿donde esta la diferencia?
Yo imagino que si alguien organiza una fiesta en su calle para hacer proselitismo a favor de un partido, ley o candidato tal vez no serían demandados, y veo que estos clérigos le hablan a SUS seguidores y a SU comunidad, no entiendo aun la diferencia.
Se que la hay, y se que el día que un alma piadosa lea este diario me lo dirá con palabras dulces y tiernas parecidas a estas: «¡Lo que hay que ver!, Pero
, ¡¿Que no sabes que de acuerdo con tal ley, bla, bla, bla?!», Y entonces yo diré: «¡Vaya!, novedoso, ¿eh?», pero en este momento solo me declaro imposibilitada de comprenderlo.

The firsts aren’t usually the lasts

Oddly enough I saw a movie the other day, it was a movie about ballet and it wasn’t a movie about a particular ballet show but about the whole show in ballet.
I think it was about a French ballet company, a national one, one of the best in the world and the story of this company along 7 months or so.
I was of course very impressed, I have never really like ballet but I adore the differences amongst classes and I adore the beauty behind the absolute control over the body, and this movie showed plenty of both.
I didn’t know ballet dancers were hierarchic, well, I did know but I didn’t think they had such a desperately painful one, I thought that at the most they were like the ones in other sports, which only show differences concerning the money and opportunities; Just another place in another scale from a different social group, but I was wrong, this scale is amazingly well defined, nobody «raises» if they didn’t earn it with blood, tears and a feeling-less personality, it’s rude, it’s crude, it’s soul breaking as nothing I had seen before, because there’s only that way or falling t
o the plain social class that most people seem to belong to.
It’s truly fascinating to see this young guys and girls trying to go beyond their human nature to follow their passion, the thing that as one defined it, goes beyond love and it’s a need.
The teacher of the ballet school couldn’t have pictured this «scene» better: «We want only the best to reach the end, the top, we don’t want the weak, we can only work with the strong ones».
It’s (for the third time, I know) a true and magnificent process of natural selection, the weak dies in tears, the strong can have the chance to be The Best even if it’s only for a few minutes in their lifetime.
I don’t want to sound discriminative but there’s something very appealing about being the best in something, about fighting with, and competing against perfectionist to be ahead of them, about getting what you want and swallowing all the suffer on the way there.
Should I wish that the whole world was ruled like this again? Passing by the weak ones?
Or maybe this is how the world is still being, maybe there’s something like an «elite» out there, the ones that decide over the huge amounts of money, the ones that win the prizes, the ones that dance in Paris next to the best dancers in the world, the ones that make movies about how the world is up there so the rest of the people can see it for a second… down here?.

Subtle details

I hate to say that I’m not a feminist because then it’s assumed that I’m a machist.
I’m none of those, I’m not pro women or pro men, I just agree sometimes with women and others with men, so I can declare that I agree or disagree with people, not with their gender.
Talking about that, I need to express how much I find insulting the latest ad campaign for a coke company, their ads named «Coke Details» show a woman in several leisure activities, among others we see her using voiceless-action less men being used as steps, hangers and mirror holders.
I don’t pretend to exaggerate when I state that such scenes should be equally insulting for both men and women, in my humble opinion it’s absolutely pathetic that somebody pretends to reduce a human being to a mere will ness object, of course, humans have flaws, are evil, have no limits to their decadence, that’s a fact, but to see that as funny or to sell it as a nice dream that anybody can get out of several empty cans of coke and a couple of pounds is not only low for a human being but VERY low as a society.
If a person is stupid th
en either natural selection or the beings surrounding the person should give it a hand, but what happens when society as a whole doesn’t seem to have too many «bright» spots? what happens when a coke company can get away with an anti-human campaign?
Do I hear «nothing» again?

More about Gir

I have said in the past (and will keep saying) how much I dislike those cartoons that are not for little kids and are not for teens but for slow minded adults, but in this case, just for the love I feel for character Gir, I’ll try to make a parenthesis in this, my personal opinion.
The reason why I dislike those cartoons (some titles can be found in this same diary) is simply because I don’t see anything interesting in making a parody of 1930’s toons when kids that where born in 1990 won’t be able to understand them, so, what’s the point of a parody if nobody is going to get it?
At least to me that doesn’t makes any sense, besides, what’s the point of a parody of a cartoon? If cartoons are already fiction or even a parody of the «real world» then I see no point in trying to make rude fun of it.
But that’s just my opinion, and having said that I can move on to Gir.
Gir is part of a cartoon named «Invder Zim» and honestly I haven’t found the plot so far, I simply haven’t got a clue of what the cartoon is about, but that’s not so important now, because, what
I consider not too nice is the constant lack of originality when this cartoon keeps copying scenes from the another cartoon named «Simpsons».
Being original always deserves some admiration, some credit, no matter how much we like or dislike something we know it’s difficult to give a «fresh» idea and we (at least I) can stand up for people that build their work based in that, but stealing comedy, that’s cheap!
Let me give you an example, my dear reader: On an episode about a brain and a dog from those «Invder» series we can see the scene of a «not so impenetrable fortress» when a mom and her baby get into what seems to be a very locked space ship, which is exactly like the scene at a simpsons’s episode where Mr. Burns find a street dog inside his very secret nuclear area, almost like another scene from the simpsons’ where in what seems to be an isolated capsule full of security measures Mr. Burns finds Homer eating a sandwich inside.
Another scene from the simpson’s that we can find copied in «Zim» is the one of an «you’ll get tired eventually» attitude, when we know that in the simpsons the character never gets tired of whatever annoying activity he’s doing.
Of course, I’m not going to say that the cartoon of «Zim» is all garbage or deny my love for Gir, I’m just going to say that you are either a genius as a creator or a look alike of one.
P.S. – Still, whatever the situation I will now proclaim my thankfulness to Gir’s creator.

«Soy un ser humano» –Jolopo

Continuando con las familias presidenciales hace días que he querido hablar un poco sobre algo que sucede en la familia del ex presidente jlp.
Aclaro que en esta ocasión no pienso hablar sobre esa dolorosa confesión del ex presidente acerca de su sentir en la vida y de su concordancia con el ser que es ahora y el que era hace 30 años.
Esta vez seré breve, solo quiero dejar escrita en mi bitácora ese momento en el que me volví a encontrar con esas muy irónicas coincidencias de la vida.
Cambiando los canales el Lunes por la noche vi que estaba un programa en CNI 40 sobre las entrevistas con el ex presidente y su actual esposa, en estas entrevistas solo podemos sentir un poco de tristeza hacia la persona del Sr. Portillo y un enorme sentimiento de injusticia hacia su actual esposa por haberle repartido a sus dos hijos una gran parte de lo que se rumora es patrimonio de muchos millones de Méxicanos.
La ironía no es esa, no hay ironía alguna en lo que acabo de citar, lo irónico es que al cansarme de ver las suplicas por lo que aparentemente sería más dinero del pueblo a los dos hijos de esta señora decidí cambiar de canal y el numero que seguía en mi televisor era el canal dos, donde se podía encontrar a esta misma señora en una actuación especial para una telenovela; ¿La escena?, varias patrullas con actores representando policías de la AFI rodeando una mansión y le decían a la Sra. «Esta detenida por lavado de dinero», la Sra. sin moverse dejaba ver solo una sonrisa irónica.
Igual, todo igual, el mundo a veces parece tener sentido.

¿En el nombre de quien?

Es claro, bastante obvio, que hay una fuerte contradicción en las recientes declaraciones del ciudadano presidente de este país.
En una conferencia dada por el ciudadano presidente, este, haciendo referencia a dos libros que hablan de la vida de el y su actual esposa, deja ver que esta al tanto de estas publicaciones y que no piensa censurarlas a pesar de que las considera calumniosas ya que respeta la libertad de expresión.
A ver, si es clara la contradicción pero, ¿por qué decirlo?.
Con la cantidad de información e investigaciones que se han realizado a propósito del ciudadano presidente y su actual esposa creo que la veracidad de la información en el libro no esta realmente en duda, son ya muchos años que escritores y estudiosos del tema han denunciado en diversas ocasiones irregularidades en el manejo de la presidencia por parte de estos 2 individuos, entonces, lo que yo vería como un problema es el porque faltar a la ley en nombre de la libertad de expresión.
Es tan erratico como no detener a un asesino alegando respetar su derecho a la libertad.
Ahora lo que yo también me pregunto es, si en 4 años que termine el periodo del presidente se le llegaran a hacer acusaciones serias de lavado de dinero, desaparición de personas, trafico de influencias o negocios ilícitos como hemos visto acusados a muchos ex presidentes latinoamericanos, ¿significaría eso que el presidente no se iba a defender?.
Ahorita lo que el llama calumnias son acusaciones y el ciudadano presidente dice que no hará nada al respecto, y, ¿si sucede algo similar después?, ¿hará algo?, ¿cuando?.
Contradictorio, escalofriantemente contradictorio.
